Which Australian charities are profiling, ranking and predicting whether you’ll give money?

Most of Australia’s largest and most trusted charities are leaning on commercial providers
to label, rank and even predict how much their donors will give them. These millions of
Australians have little idea this is happening, and would struggle to find out even if they
wanted to.

That’s the conclusion of Dr Gabrielle Josling’s months-long investigation into 31 Australian
charities this year. She shared the results with Crikey.
